Nigel has over 28 years’ experience in market regulation, government and commercial legal practice. He holds degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Adelaide and a Masters’ degree in Law from Oxford University. He has also completed Harvard University’s Cybersecurity programme.
He has advised Australian and international corporations, regulators (including the ACCC and ASIC) and governments, including as a law reformer. He has been General Counsel of SA’s largest private corporation and General Counsel & Head of Governance of the Indigenous Land Corporation. He has also been a Company Director and Company Secretary of both national and private corporations.
Nigel has commercial and research expertise in regulation, contract law, competition and consumer law, mergers, expert evidence (including economics, finance and agribusiness), water rights, renewables, agribusiness, critical infrastructure, insurance, corporate law, environmental protection, indigenous law, cybersecurity and technology law.
